St. Andrews
St Andrews staat ook wereldwijd bekend als de thuisbasis van golf.
Volgens het oudste bewaard gebleven document, het "spelen bij golf"
op de links naast de rivier Eden werd in 1552 toestemming verleend door aartsbisschop Hamilton.
De Old Course heeft 24 keer het Open Championship gehouden, voor het eerst in 1873.
Er is veel te zien in de omgeving van de Old Course in St. Andrews.
